Vista Charity “Nite Owl Ride”
SPONSORSHIPS OPPORTUNITIES
The second annual Vista Charity Nite Owl Ride is underway! The unique 12-hour ride, which runs over the historic Gervais Street Bridge between the City of Columbia and the City of West Columbia, will benefit four different charities this year: Children’s Chance, a nonprofit charitable organization that supports South Carolina families facing pediatric cancer; The South Carolina Philharmonic, who’s mission is to broaden the public awareness and enjoyment of symphonic music; The Foundation for the South Carolina Commission for the Blind, which helps provide blind and severely visually impaired South Carolinians with the funds they need to help fill the gap in their medical, educational and equipment needs; and The Lance Armstrong Foundation, which unites people to fight cancer believing that unity is strength, knowledge is power and attitude is everything. The ride, scheduled to be held from 8 p.m. Friday, September 17th to 8 a.m. Saturday, September 18th, will challenge cyclists to ride throughout the night to support these worthy causes For more information, please visit www.niteowlride.org or email niteowlride@bellsouth.net.
